At your convenience, one of our professional & friendly Home Security Consultants will visit your property to conduct a detailed Site Survey (all Ninja Systems Home Security Consultants and Engineers carry official company ID badges). They will discuss with you each area of your property to be protected and identify the optimal location for each of the systems components. A Site Survey of a typical residential property should take no more than 30 minutes to complete.
Can I try before I buy?
Product Demonstration Our Consultant will conduct a full demonstration of the system in your own home. Because we specialise in completely wireless systems, we have a custom demonstration unit which can be switched on in your home within 30 seconds of opening the case.
This is a great feature as it instantly demonstrates the capabilities of our system in almost exactly the same way as it will once your own system is installed. We’ll even program your own mobile telephone number into the demonstration unit so that when you trigger the alarm you will receive a text message from the system sent directly to your own phone!
Our Home Security Consultants carry most of the optional equipment too, so you can see how each component looks & feels, and how it operates within the system.
OK, so I think the system is great, but how much will it cost me?
Detailed Quotation The total investment price is calculated based on numerous factors including; how many rooms there are to protect with motion sensors, how many windows / doors need protecting with Magnetic Sensors, where the External Siren & the Main Control Panel will be located, whether or not you will require PET Immune PIRs or Standard PIRs, if Smoke Detectors are required, if any additional Keyfobs or Wireless Keypads are needed, plus, with a wide range of Home Automation Options, every system we install is truly customised to the individual property. Therefore the only feasible way to offer an accurate price is to conduct a full site survey and to discuss your needs.
Using the information collected during the Site Survey, our Home Security Consultant is able to calculate the exact cost of your proposed system immediately, so that should you wish to go ahead with protecting your property with a Ninja Systems Burglar Alarm, you won’t have to wait around for us to prepare a written quotation.
I really like the system and I’m happy with the price, so how do I go ahead?
Booking The Installation Once you are completely satisfied that Ninja Systems is the right choice for you, and you are happy that our system can meet or exceed your requirements, we ask for a 20% deposit to secure the order. We then book a convenient time for the installation to take place.
Our Engineers carry out installations Monday to Friday, 9am – 4pm.

Do I need to do anything to prepare for the installation of my security alarm?
Pre-Programming & Testing Your System Prior To Installation Aside from ensuring you have tea, coffee, sugar & milk to hand - No, there is nothing you need to do to prepare.
We appreciate that you are busy and have a whole life to lead outside of your intruder alarm system being installed. So, in order to minimise disruption to your daily routine, we use the information gathered during your Site Survey to carry out all of the necessary programming, configuration and testing of your main system at our premises before we arrive at your home.
By ensuring that our highly trained British Security Engineers are familiar with the installation plan before arriving at your premises, we can guarantee a hassle free and seamless job, as well as dramatically reducing the time they need to be on-site.
What should I expect on the day of the installation?
Installing The System On Your Premises Firstly, our Installation Team will arrive at your premises at the specified appointment time (we always make every effort to be punctual – on the rare occasion where we are delayed we will call to let you know).
Upon arrival at your premises, our Engineers will introduce themselves and show their ID cards to confirm their identity. Once they’ve determined who’s having tea & who’s having coffee they will go over everything with you that is on the original order to confirm all is correct.
Because of the way we carry out our site surveys (see step 1), there is no need to rethink the installation, and since all of the system will have already been pre-programmed and tested (see step 5), all of the sensors will already be labelled with the room that it is to be installed in. This again dramatically reduces the overall time we spend on your premises. Although our systems are completely wireless, the main control panel and the External Siren require a mains power connection to keep the internal back up batteries charged.
Generally, our Home Security Consultant will have already determined the optimum location for these components to ensure the shortest (or least visual) route for wiring into your mains electricity. We like to avoid as much disruption to your property as possible, so the workplan will have been designed to minimise the requirement for drilling holes. However, the Main Control Panel, for example, needs to be securely mounted on a wall, usually requiring a few small holes to be drilled at the point where it is located. The last thing you want is brick dust all over your home, so we use our own cordless vacuum cleaner while we’re drilling so that the dust does not come anywhere near any of your internal decorations. We appreciate that you take pride in your home, so we use our own custom template which features a built in spirit level for drilling the holes for the panel which means everything we install is perfectly aligned, neatly fitted and with no mess at all. Once the installation is complete, and the various testing procedures have been completed successfully, our Installation Engineers will completely clear up any rubbish, tools, packaging etc.
You will then be given a full demonstration of how to use the system and we will also go through the user guide with you, to make sure you are comfortable & confident using both the basic and more advanced features of your system. You will also receive an exclusive Ninja Systems presentation DVD which contains a brief overview of how to use the alarm systems primary functions.
The Invoice / Receipt for your outstanding balance will be issued for settlement prior to our Engineers leaving. However, in the extremely unlikely event that you are not completely satisfied with your Ninja Systems Security Alarm, or you feel that the work has not been completed as per the original proposal / agreement, no payment of the balance will be required until such a time as all of the issues (if any) have been resolved.
Thanks to an extremely user friendly menu system within the main control panel, we find that most of our customers only require a few days of using it before they are confidently showing off all of things their system can do to their friends & family.

Subsequently, 10-14 days after the installation you will receive a courtesy call from Ninja Systems. We will answer any questions that you may have after using the system for a couple of weeks, and ensure that the system is all working as it should be.

Will my system require any maintenance or servicing?
Maintenance And Servicing Six Months after the initial installation, we’ll contact you to arrange a suitable time for one of our Security Installation Engineers to visit your property and conduct a full service of your Alarm System. This includes Siren Tests (we’ll make every effort to inform your neighbours that we are carrying out a system check), Main Panel Configuration & Interface tests, sensor detection / trigger tests, as well as checking, all battery levels in your sensors & modules (and replacing where necessary). We’ll even check the credit balance on your systems GSM SIM card and top it up if necessary.
The Maintenance / Servicing will continue to rotate on a 6 month / bi-annual basis for the entire life cycle of your system.
